New Delhi, August 9: Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) Rajya Sabha MP and former actor Naramalli Sivaprasad once again grabbed the media attention for his unique appearance in the parliament during the monsoon session. When other MPs are creating a ruckus in and outside the parliament, Sivaprasad has been holding unique costume protest demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. On Thursday, he turned up as Adolf Hitler in the parliament.

Three days back, Sivaprasad dressed as Lord Ram as a protest over the issue. He had s also dressed up as the Sathya Sai and Narad Muni avatar for protesting over the same issue. On March 23, he held ‘tantrik protest’ expressing his disappointment with budget proposals. He protested outside by becoming a ‘tantrik’ or magician.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh for a long time. In March, the TDP pulled out of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the issue. The TDP was the first party to leave the coalition since NDA came to power at the Centre in 2014.

During the monsoon session, TDP also lashed out at the BJP-led coalition government. The party also asked the BJP-led government to honour its assurances in letter and spirit by granting special category status to Andhra Pradesh, as the BJP accused it of misleading its people. However, claimed that it had fulfilled most of the promises.
