2 Burglars Arrested in Sahibabad
Two people were arrested for allegedly carrying out burglaries in Sahibabad and cash worth Rs 3.8 lakh and gold ornaments worth Rs 17 lakh were seized from their possession, police said today.
Ghaziabad, Aug 17 (PTI) Two people were arrested for allegedly carrying out burglaries in Sahibabad and cash worth Rs 3.8 lakh and gold ornaments worth Rs 17 lakh were seized from their possession, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Nikhil and Sandeep from Chitrakoot colony of Arthla Sahibabad yesterday, Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said.
During interrogation, they confessed to have stolen gold ornaments and money from a house.
The police also seized two country-made pistols, two cartridges and one motorcycle from their possession, the SSP said.
