Kolkata (West Bengal) [India], October 11 (ANI): The Enforcement Directorate is conducting raids at rice mills in the Nadia district of West Bengal in connection with a recruitment scam.

The raids are underway at ESSSGE Rice Mill and GK Agro Food Production, a rice mill and flour mill located on the Shantipur Bypass Road adjacent to Babla Kanda Khola.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday raided two Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders Firhad Hakim and Madan Mitra residences in connection with the alleged civil municipal bodies recruitment 'scam'.

While Hakim is the Minister of Urban Development in West Bengal and also the Kolkata Mayor, Mitra is an MLA from Kamarhati.
