"After Argentina's surprise loss to Saudi Arabia in its first game, I posted a photograph on Facebook sitting in a boat with several colourful fish arrayed before me and a message -- if my team wins the next match, I will roast and eat the fish," Swadikh, a vlogger, said.

Argentina won and he followed through with his task, he said.

Next came the South American team's quarter-final match on December 10 against Netherlands and a day before that Swadikh put up a Facebook post -- if his team wins, he will eat biryani in the middle of the sea.

"Argentina won and I went had a biryani in the sea on a boat. I also put up photographs of the same on my Facebook page," he told PTI.

Then came the semi-final against Croatia and the task Swadikh set for himself this time was that he would erect a Messi cut out at the bottom of the sea amongst the coral reef and colourful fish if Argentina gets into the finals.

"Argentina won 3-0 against Croatia and I, along with some of friends, went and put up the cut out at the bottom of the sea amidst the corals and different coloured fish. I also put up a video and photographs of the same on my Facebook page," he said.

On what is his next task if Argentina wins the World Cup, Swadikh is undecided.

"I have not figured out what I will do next. Still thinking about it," he said.
