Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 31 (ANI): Two girls drowned while bathing in a tributary of the Ramganga river in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, police said on Friday, while one was rescued.

CO Highway Nitin Kumar told ANI that the three girls drowned after falling into the deeper part of the river.

"Three girls had gone to the river to bathe in a tributary of the Ramganga. They drowned after falling into the deeper part of the river," Kumar said.

"By the efforts of everyone, one girl was saved while the other two unfortunately died. The rescued girl has been sent to the CHC," he added.
