Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 31 (ANI): A fire broke out at a cloth showroom in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district, said an official on Friday.

Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Subhash Singh shared details on the fire incident and said, "We received information about the fire. We immediately reached the spot with a fire engine. The fire was on the top floor of the three-storey building. The fire has been completely extinguished."

"If the fire had not been extinguished immediately, it could have been devastating. Eyewitnesses have said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit," said the fire officer.

No casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident.
