After spending close to a year away from India, Rishi Kapoor finally returned to Mumbai on Tuesday night. The actor was in New York where he was getting treatment related to a problem in his bone marrow. His wife and actress Neetu Kapoor was there with him, like a pillar of strength. In a number of interviews that Rishi gave from New York, he always said that he was desperately waiting to be back home, and the moment he landed in the city, he took to Twitter to share the news with his fans, who were also waiting for Rishi to reunite with his family and friends.
Rishi's homecoming definitely called for a party and so his son Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Alia Bhatt hosted one at Rishi's residence in Bandra. Pictures of Alia arriving at the party have made way to social media already. The actress looks stunning in a yellow anarkali. Even Neetu posted a picture on her Instagram account. In the photo, we see a golden balloon with 'welcome home Dad' written on it in black. "This simple ballon has so much Warmth Love and belonging 😍🥰😘(sic)," reads the caption on Neetu's post. Check it out here:
While Rishi must have been advised to take it easy for a few days, we are sure he cannot wait to be back on a film set. He recently revealed that he will start shooting for a film by the end of September. The actor had wrapped up dubbing for his films before heading to NYC for treatment last year. Rishi had dubbed for crime-thriller The Body, which also features Emraan Hashmi, Sobhita Dhulipala and Vedhika. He will also shoot for a film with Juhi Chawla as it was put on hold due to Rishi's treatment.
