AndhaDhun may not have taken off to a very huge start, but it is slowly building up its collections by strong word of mouth publicity. The black comedy directed by Sriram Raghavan has been getting rave reviews, which also go for the performances of the lead stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte. Though AndhaDhun has not managed to outdo the superhero film from Hollywood, Venom that came out on the same Friday, it has managed to decimate its Bollywood competitor, LoveYatri. LoveYatri: 5 Lessons Salman Khan The Producer Should Learn From the Debacle of Aayush Sharma's Debut Film.

For a film that doesn't have any Khans in the movie, AndhaDhun has a pretty decent start. Even on its first Monday, the movie has not done bad business per se. As per trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, the movie has collected Rs 18.40 crore in its four-day run, while earning Rs 3.40 crore on the first Monday. Considering the movie's theme is not massy and doesn't boast of any front-benchers pleasing elements, AndhaDhun is striving on the goodwill of the positive reviews and viewer response.

We have to see if the movie grows in its earnings in the coming days. Again with multiple releases coming this Friday, it would be a Herculean task, but Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree has shown the path.
