After sharing the intriguing first posters of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, the makers of Badla have now released the trailer of the film. Badla is the Hindi word for 'revenge' and as the title suggests the storyline is based on the lines of the same. Badla, a thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh, is the official remake of the 2016 Spanish thriller film Contratiempo. History is proof that nobody else apart from Sujoy Ghosh makes better thriller movies and we bet Badla will be an interesting watch too. Now, talking about the trailer, it starts with a powerful dialogue by Amitabh where he says, "Badla lena har baar sahi nahi hota, lekin maaf kardena bhi har baar sahi nahi hota." Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar to Play World’s Oldest Sharpshooters in a Yet-Untitled Film.

The story is about a lawyer (essayed by Big B), who has never lost a case in the last forty years and is on a mission to fight for Taapsee's case, whose character is accused of killing her partner. She was having an extra marital affair with Arjun and while they were on a getaway, it was just the two of them in the room, there came a third person who came and murdered him. He carefully managed to escape, so it is Taapsee who gets embroiled in the murder controversy of her boyfriend. The trailer reminds you of Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha's Ittefaq which was based on similar lines. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Twitter Chat Reveals When to Expect the First Trailer of Badla; Share First Posters
