FIR Filed After Threat Emails

According to officials, Khurana received threatening emails and audio messages in which the sender allegedly demanded money and issued life threats. Speaking to India Today, SP (D) Mohali Sourabh Jindal said, “An FIR has been registered under Sections 308(4) and 351(3) of the BNS at Mohali Police Station and an investigation has been initiated.”

Alleged Links to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Police sources said the threat call allegedly originated in Chandigarh and may be linked to Harry Boxer, described as a close associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Zeeshan Akhtar, named in the FIR, has previously been linked to high-profile criminal cases and is reportedly associated with the incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Celebrities Targeted in Fresh Threat Calls

This incident follows a series of reported threats targeting celebrities. Earlier, singer B Praak and his associate Dilnoor allegedly received similar calls. Actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty were also reportedly threatened through an audio message attributed to Hari Boxer. Security agencies remain on alert as investigations continue into the authenticity and origin of these threats.
