From his debut movie, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai to his last release, Kaabil, we list down some of his best roles we would not mind watching over and over again.

1. Rohit/Raj: Kaho Na Pyaar Hai 

It was love at first sight for all his fans! The movie directed by Rakesh Roshan, starring Hrithik Roshan and Amisha Patel became a huge success and gave the audiences a heart-throbbing actor to adore and look up to. He played a double role in his debut film and smoothly took over the responsibility. Along with his acting, Hrithik's dance moves and great physique became the talk of the town. He won the Best Debut and Best Actor Filmfare Awards for the movie- the only actor so far in the history of Filmfare Awards.

2. Krrish/Krishna/Rohit: Krrish 

The 2006-film Krrish finally gave us a decent Indian superhero film. Finally, we could blow our horn about having our very own superhero. The movie series was yet another milestone in Hrithik’s career. He plays the double role with the role of Krrish and his mastermind father Rohit and undoubtedly, he brought justice to both the characters. Krrish films were a record-breaking blockbuster. Krrish 3 released in 2013 is one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies of all time.

3. Aryan Singh: Dhoom 2 

The second series of racing-action film Dhoom, the film had its expectations, which they fully delivered upon release in 2006. Media reports suggest that during the release, audiences were cynical about Hrithik as the villain in this high adrenaline drama, Dhoom 2. But we got to see his multiple looks with the extremely toned physique. It awarded him the title of “sexiest man alive in India.” He performed bike stunts and once again his dance moves kept his fans glued to screen.

4. Emperor Akbar: Jodha Akbar (2008)

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Jodha Akbar is one of the best movies of Hrithik Roshan’s film career. Rooting for the desired character of Emperor Akbar, the actor undoubtedly did justice with his intellectual charm. The 2008 historical-drama film based on the romance between Muslim ruler Akbar and a Hindu queen Jodha Bai received much love with Hrithik winning his fourth Filmfare Award for an exquisite performance.

5. Ethan: Guzaarish (2010)

In an emotional directorial of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Hrithik carried off a difficult role effortlessly in 2010-film Guzaarish. A quadriplegic magician who has been in bed for 13 long years files a plea of euthanasia (mercy killing), his eyes speak tonnes of feelings. The film is definitely a masterpiece with Hrithik delivering a commanding performance so far in his career. He won a Stardust Best Actor Drama for this film.

6. Arjun: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 

Arjun, a financial broker and workaholic learning to enjoy every bit of life on a road trip was a very relatable character to the youth audience.  His acting in 2011 film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara took all of us through the simple joys and moments of life. The movie was a critical and commercial success and his simple sober acting proved to be an enjoyable experience throughout.

7. Vijay Deenanath Chauhan: Agneepath 

Stepping into the shoes of Bollywood’s legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is a courageous act, which Hrithik managed to do quite well in the remake of 1990 film Agneepath. Hrithik’s intense acting with Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor in supporting roles made it another blockbuster movie of all times. Hrithik won the Filmfare Award for the best actor for his role in the 2012 movie helmed by Karan Malhotra.

8. Rohan: Kaabil 

Rohan, a proficient dubbing artist, who despite being visually-impaired, have a positive disposition towards life. Getting into the mindset of a character is not an easy job, especially to roles such as visual impairment but Hrithik yet again did justice to it. Sanjay Gupta-directed 2017 film could not make a blockbuster but Hrithik’s performance was enormously applauded by his fans.
