Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 15: Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Film Remains Steady on Third Friday, Mints Rs 218.60 Crore

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh has completed two weeks in theaters and its still going rock steady at the ticket windows. Though the film opened to mixed reviews and courted a big controversy, it's ride at the box office has been very smooth since day 1. Shahid starrer not only became the fastest movie of 2019 to enter the Rs 200 crore club in just 13 days but it also surpassed the lifetime business of Salman Khan's Bharat in week 2 itself. Just a while back, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter and revealed the updated figures saying, "#KabirSingh remains steady on [third] Fri... Should gather speed on [third] Sat and Sun... Will cross ₹ 225 cr today [Sat]... [Week 3] Fri 5.40 cr. Total: ₹ 218.60 cr. India biz."

Further, a report in Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "The film is now looking to do lifetime business of around 275 crore nett which would meant the ninth highest NETT grosser. If it can get above 282.50 crore nett then it would be the eighth highest NETT grosser ever. The second week numbers of Kabir Singh are the seventh highest of all time after Baahubali - The Conclusion, Dangal, PK, Sanju, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Since there is hardly any competition at the Indian box office, Shahid and Kiara's film will comfortably get cash registers ringing next week as well. However, things will slow down a bit for the movie once Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 arrives in cinema halls on July 12.
