After faring exceptionally well over the third weekend, Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's film Kabir Singh did good business on third Monday as well. The film isn't going to slow down at the ticket windows anytime soon and its only a matter of time before it becomes the highest grossing movie of 2019. Yes, Shahid starrer will surpass the lifetime collection of Ranveer Singh's blockbuster Simmba today and then by end of the week it will beat Vicky Kaushal's military drama Uri - The Surgical Strike. So far Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial venture has earned Rs 239.97 crore at the Indian box office and that's brilliant to say the least. Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 17: Shahid Kapoor Starrer Surpasses the Lifetime Collection of Kick and Chennai Express, Rakes in Rs 235.72 Crore

Announcing the updated figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and wrote, "#KabirSingh is a lottery... Continues to surprise with solid trending on [third] Mon... Will cross *lifetime biz* of #Simmba today [Tue]... Inches closer to #Uri... Fri 5.40 cr, Sat 7.51 cr, Sun 9.61 cr, Mon 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 239.97 cr. India biz."

Talking about Kabir Singh's lifetime business, Boxofficeindia.com has reported, "The drop in the third week is heading to be around 55% compared to 41% in the second week and the fourth week will face competition from the Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 and the possibility of India being in the world cup final on Sunday. These two scenarios probably mean a finish in the range of 270-275 crore nett. If the film had dropped like the second week in the third week also then there would have been a chance of a 300 crore nett plus total." Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 16: Shahid Kapoor's Film Is Trending Better Than Padmaavat, Sanju and Sultan in Week 3, Earns Rs 226.11 Crore

Though trade experts have been predicting the lifetime collection of Shahid's film, going by the trend, its very much likely that Kabir Singh will continue to mint money at the domestic box office and will once again surprise everyone its final figure.
