#MeToo movement in India has begun in full swing, and Twitter is flooded with tweets describing horrific experiences. The movement in Bollywood has also gained a momentum and several women have come out accusing the celebs and their misconduct. Nana Patekar, Rajat Kapoor, Chetan Bhagat, Kailash Kher, Vikas Bahl are few of the names that came into the limelight during these allegations. Sonam Kapoor was recently asked to comment on the allegations on Queen director Vikas Bahl and Kangana’s statements against him. However, her filter-less statements have irked Kangana and is quite upset with her now. She even took out the nepotism card and said that ‘Sonam is known for her dad and that she is not a great actress!’ Quite a statement!!

At Vogue We the Women conclave held in Bengaluru, the Neerja actress commented, “Kangana did. Kangana being Kangana Ranaut, she says a lot of stuff. Sometimes, it’s hard to take her seriously, but I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes in.” Sonam K Ahuja Reacts to the Vikas Bahl Controversy; Says She Believes the Victim.

However, talking to pinkvilla.com about it, a disappointed Manikarnika actress said, “What does she mean by saying, “it’s hard to believe Kangana” When I am sharing my me too story, who gives her a right to judge me? So, Sonam Kapoor has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t...What makes her so unsure of my claims, I am known to be an articulate person, I have represented my country in many international summits, I am called as a thought and youth influencer to these summits, I am not known because of my dad I have earned my place and credibility after struggling for a decade.”

She further said, “She isn’t known to be a great actress, neither she has the reputation of being a good speaker...... What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me!!!! I will demolish each one of them.” Sonam Kapoor Posts Promotional Tweet After Announcing Break From Twitter, Deletes It After Getting Trolled.

Meanwhile, Sonam recently declared that she won’t be active on Twitter as she finds it ‘too negative’. She was trolled for that as the fans claimed that she did not want to stand against her friends during the #MeToo campaign. We wonder what Bollywood has to say about these fierce statements about Kangana against Sonam now!
