The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is set to conduct the recruitment exam for Primary Teachers (PRT) which will begin from tomorrow, September 30, 2018. Those who are appearing in the exam have been told to download the hall tickets; the window was open from September 20. But the process turned into a nightmare for all the examinees. The official website of DSSSB—dsssbonline.nic.in stopped working correctly from the first day itself. Due to this technical glitch, worried candidates were unable to download the admit cards online, speculating to miss the exam.

Media outlets suggest that on September 27, a large number of applicants unable to download were standing in front of the DSSSB main office to get their admit cards. The Statesman reported that to many candidates, while downloading the hall tickets, the computer screen showed a message saying, “Not eligible to print e-Admit Card.” These aspirants thought that September 30 exam was going to be cancelled. The same report further noted another candidate from Rajasthan who had a different MCD exam was not issued the admit card. He had been visiting the DSSSB office for the past one week, and the reason given to him was “issuing provisional admit card takes time.” Instead of Sanskrit, Candidates Received Political Science Question Paper in Delhi DSSSB PGT Recruitment Exam 2018.

The DSSSB PRT recruitment exam was earlier conducted on October 2017 but later was cancelled because of question paper leak. Happening after a year, the students are still in stress because of such technical glitches and DSSSB’s negligence. Among the candidates who are yet to get their admit cards, many had taken the October 2017 exam. Meanwhile, the selection board said that they have evidence of issuing hall tickets to over 1 lakh candidates. If the applicants are facing such issues, they should have visited the office on or before September 26 for tomorrow’s exam, noted DSSSB official.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on different dates. DSSSB will release the call letters for October 13 exam from October 3 till October 9, for October 14, the hall tickets will be available from October 4 to October 10, and for October 28 exam, candidates will be able to download the admit card from October 18 till October 24. If the candidates face any technical glitches, they are advised to contact the DSSSB office at the earliest to avoid last minute stress.
