The Indian Railways has once again announced for the largest recruitment drive for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts, the online registrations for which is slated to begin from next week, February 28. In the government job notification, it has been confirmed that the Indian Railways will host the examination to recruit about 1.30 lakh eligible candidates for the available Level 1 vacancies. After the successful completion of the registration process, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will announce the examination date on its official website; rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional websites under the respective Centralised Employment Notice (CEN). Under the Railway NTPC category, candidates can apply for various positions that include junior clerk cum typist, accounts clerk cum typist, trains clerk, commercial cum ticket clerk, traffic assistant, goods guard, senior commercial cum ticket clerk, senior clerk cum typist, junior accountant assistant cum typist, commercial apprentice, station master, etc. UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019.
RRB NTPC, Level 1 and Other Posts Recruitment 2019 Age Limit, Pay Scale and Eligibility
According to the Indian Railways notification, different positions will have a different age limit and educational qualification. It shall be noted that the cut-off date for the age limit will be July 1, 2019, and the educational requirements would vary too. RRB NTPC, Level 1 and Other Posts Recruitment 2019 Vacancy Details
NTPC opened about 30,000 vacancies, that includes para-medical staff and ministerial and isolated categories. The remaining 1 lakh vacancies are for RRC Level 1 posts. The largest share of the available jobs would be for Track maintenance Grade IV, Helper/ Assistant in the various technical department, assistant, points man and other departments.

All the candidates will be able to apply for various positions from next week. According to the official notification, the online application for RRB NTPC will commence from February 28 and those for paramedical from March 4. Again, the online form for the Ministerial job categories will begin from March 8, and for the Level 1 posts, it will start from March 12.
The detailed official notification will provide further information on eligibility conditions for all the positions. The application fee for RRB recruitment for general candidates is Rs 500, and that of the reserved category is Rs 250.
