New Delhi, Apr 3: The Indian Railways is hiring for various posts across all major zones. The Railway Recruitment Board has issued the notifications for the fresh openings. Interested candidates can apply for the jobs via the official RRB website - rrb.gov.in.

The job openings are available in the Central Railway, Northeast Frontier Railway, Konkan Railway, Northern Railway, Central Railway and North Western Railway. The posts which are available include: Electrician, Doctor, Specialists Posts and Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevaks.

Konkan Railways Recruitment

Konkan Railways has begun the process of recruiting Electrician and ESTMs. A total of 42 posts of Electrician are available, along with 30 openings for ESTMs. The candidate must have a degree in Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in trades of Electrician/Wireman/Mechanic HT.

Eligible candidate can apply online via konkanrailway.com.

Northern Railway Recruitment

The Northern Railways has invited applications for 5 Specialists Doctors, 1 Pediatrician, 1 General Surgeon, 1 Ophthalmologist and 6 General Duty doctors.

The aspirants could be eligible only if they have a MBBS degree and post-graduate Medical Degree/diploma from a university recognised by Indian Medical Council.

The candidates are mandated to apply before April 11, 2018 on the Northern Railway recruitment website.

Rounds of interview would be conducted for appointment among the shortlisted candidates.

Central Railway Recruitment

A total of 401 positions are available for the job of Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevaks. Candidates need to apply via the cr.indianrailways.gov.in. Application booklets are available at DRM(C) Office, Passenger Section, Annex Building, Mumbai CSMT, Central railway.

Central Railway has also invited applications for a single post of Senior Resident. Candidates with a graduate degree or diploma from a central or state university can apply.

The upper age limit is 33 years for graduates and 35 years for post-graduates.

Walk-in-interview will be held on April 18 at Medical Director’s Office, Dr. B.A.M.Hospital, Central Railway, Byculla, Mumbai.

Indian Railways is the single-largest employer in the nation, with nearly 33 lakh workers on its payroll.
