The new season of Bigg Boss Season 2 Tamil is being hosted by superstar Kamal Haasan. The veteran actor's return as host to the show has created much buzz. The first season was a runaway hit, with the standout performances inside the house. But the second season, as things stand now, is turning out to be more controversial. Things are not getting intense just inside the house, but out of it as well. It is now reported that a formal complaint has been lodged against Kamal Haasan for defaming the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa.

Avid Bigg Boss followers argued that Haasan with his tongue in cheek remarks and liberal attitude defamed the deceased actor-turned-politician. We gather that the complaint lodged against Kamal Haasan, against the show itself  Big Boss 2 as indeed against Vijay TV with Chennai police commissioner.  The complainant alleges that Haasan is portraying former CM Jayalalithaa as a dictator through the reality show. " There has been not a single remark had an aggressive or objectionable tone to it.  Why there's so much fuss about it? That's the problem in our country. We either put our leaders on the pedestal, make them demi-gods or thrash them mercilessly. Hasaan has not done anything that warrants criminal or legal charges against him," maintained a source from the show. There has been no official statement released so far from the channel or from the actor. Watch this space for more update on this controversial episode.
