EVM Tampering Row: Electronic Voting Machines Don’t Respond to Any Radio Frequency, Says Election Commission.

The activists complain that people's faith in EVMs has shaken as they can easily tamper, so ballot boxes should be brought back. Replicating the Quit India movement of Independence Day struggle, the anti-EVM activists will organise nationwide 'Long March'.

This was decided at a national consultation meeting held in the national capital recently organised by the EVM Virodhi Rashtriya Jan Andolan (EVRJA), a conglomeration of various organisations that are against the use of Electronic Voting Machines.

The group describes EVM tampering worse than booth capturing and by completely ignoring the EVM factor, we are deriving at wrong conclusions.  According to reports, a National Council would be formed to include a member from each of the member organisations, right down to the grass-root level, the EVRJA said.
