New Delhi, July 12: The Supreme Court on Friday, gave the Delhi LG a piece of its mind on the matter of disposing garbage and solid waste management in the capital. The top court also told the Delhi LG that you keep saying that you have the power and that you are a "superman" in a possible reference to the recent power struggle in Delhi.

News agency ANI shared a tweet regarding the news in which the Supreme Court rapped LG for not attending a crucial meeting on the issue of disposing garbage and solid waste management. Check out the tweet below:

Earlier, the Supreme Court on July 10 had asked the Centre and the Delhi government to clarify at the earliest as to who could be held responsible for clearing the "mountain loads of garbage" in the national capital.

It is a known fact that Delhi has a garbage and waste management problem which contributes to the problem of pollution in the capital. A recent report had said that about 78 per cent of Delhi population throws its garbage on the roads of Delhi, which only adds to the menace of 'garbage pollution' in the national capital.
