Hyderabad: Man Bangs His Three-Year-Old Son Against Auto; Police Register Case Under Juvenile Justice Act, Watch Video

Hyderabad, July 10: In a shocking incident, a man in an inebriated state banged his three-year-old son against an auto in Jagadgirigutta area of Hyderabad on Sunday night. The mother of the child has refused to file a complaint against the accused.

According to police, Shiva Goud, a resident of Srinivasnagar Colony came home in an inebriated state when started fighting with his wife Anusha. He then picked up his child and then banged him against an auto. Two on-beat constable managed to get hold of Goud and took the child into their custody.

The police have taken sou motto cognisance and registered a case of child abuse under 75 Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act and U/s9(1)(a) Child Care and Protection Act. The child received minor injuries and was admitted to a hospital for treatment. The three-year-old child has now been kept him under care and protection of the women development and child welfare department.

According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, Shiva and his wife are known for their aggressive behaviour in the area. The couple did not even enrol the child in Anganwadi. Often Anusha leaves for her parents after quarrelling with Goud.
