Panaji, March 3: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was discharged from a Bambolim hospital after few tests and examinations, hours after he was admitted there on Sunday. Parrikar was again hospitalised during the early hours of Sunday for internal bleeding. The 63-year-old Chief Minister is suffering from a pancreatic ailment and has been in and out of hospitals for a year now. The Chief Minister was taken to GMC for a regular check-up and was later allowed to go home. "His health condition is stable," an official from the chief minister's office said.

An official from the state-run Goa Medical College said that the Chief Minister has been admitted to conduct tests and examinations to check if the internal bleeding, which he was suffering from, is completely under check.

On February 23, Parrikar was admitted to GMC and was treated by a team of doctors from the New Delhi-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as well as those from the state-run facility. He was discharged on February 26. 'Manohar Parrikar Should Honourably Resign or Rather Give Charge to Somebody', Says Goa Congress Legislator Reginaldo Lourenco; BJP Hits Back.
