Mumbai, December 31: Mumbai Police on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory for diversions in route in Colaba Traffic Division in Mumbai, due to the New Year 2020 celebrations. The Colaba is one of the most famous locations for tourists, people often come here to enjoy its unique architecture. Part of old Mumbai, Colaba begins at the Gateway of India and passes through decades-old cafes, hip modern restaurants and stalls selling handcrafted souvenirs. "In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and to ensure safety of pedestrians during the New Year celebrations, certain traffic regulations would be implemented from 19.00 hrs of 31st December, 2019 till 06.00 hrs of 1st January, 2020," Mumbai Police said in a Tweet.

The North Bound of NS Road from NCPA to Winoli Chowpatty will be closed for all types of vehicles

One Way Restrictions

The South Bound of Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg will be closed for all types of vehicles.

Parking Restrictions (7 pm on December 31 to 6 am on January 1):

  3. Veer Nariman Road
  4. PJ Ramchandani Marg
  5. Mahakavi Bhushan Marg
  6. Adam Street
