Ghaziabad, February 23: In a shocking incident, a 21-year-old allegedly gang-raped by her two brothers-in-law multiple times at Omicron-II in Uttar Pradesh's Dadri. The police have started an investigation in the case. However, no arrests have been made yet. According to the Hindustan Times report, the woman is a native of Aligarh. Her husband passed away a month ago due to a prolonged illness. The family of the victim alleged that she was forced by her in-laws to live with them post her husband’s death. Victim’s brother told Hindustan Times that 20 days back woman’s in-laws moved to the house in Dadri. He also alleged that the victim’s husband’s younger brother and his sister’s husband raped her multiple times after forcing her to take sleeping pills.

According to the report, a case was registered against the two suspects, along with woman’s sister-in-law and mother-in-law, under sections 323, 342, 328 and 376-D (gang rape) of Indian Penal Code. The police have ordered a medical examination of the rape survivor.

In a similar incident last year, a newly-wed was allegedly gang-raped by her husband, his relatives and four tantriks of gangraping her on the night of her wedding in a village of Yamunanagar district. The 22-year-old woman belongs to Babain area of Kurukshetra district. In the complaint filed by the father of the victim, he mentioned that his daughter was married to Gurvinder Singh of Yamunanagar district on September 12.
