Mumbai, October 12: Amalner constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra. This constituency is located in the Jalgaon district. Anil Bhaidas Patil of the NCP party won from the constituency with 88,896 votes. Amalner constituency had their 2019 General Assembly Elections on October 21. The counting of votes and the final results were declared on October 24.

Shirish Hiralal Chaudhari, an Independent candidate won the 2014 General Assembly Elections with 68,149 votes.  Shirish has organised many social work activities for the locals and has done tremendous work for the public in the Amalner constituency as well as Nandurbar districts. Due to this noticeable contribution to his constituency, he has a huge fan following.

The term of the Devendra Fadnavis-led current Maharashtra Assembly will end on 9 November. This year, 3,239 candidates are contesting the assembly elections. To avoid confusion among voters at the booth, all the voting slips need to be distributed by October 16, which is just five days ahead of the voting day.

The Election Commission has directed that all the election counting related processes should be complete by Diwali. A total of 95,473 polling stations will be set up for over 8.95 crore voters in Maharashtra for the election.  The term of the Devendra Fadnavis-led current Maharashtra Assembly will end on 9 November.
