Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The counting of votes for the Ambala Lok Sabha Constituency began at 8 am today. The results of the Parliamentary seat in Haryana will be declared by Thursday, May 23 evening. Rattan Lal Kataria of the BJP won the seat. Voting took place for the Ambala seat in Haryana in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on May 12.

The nominations for the Ambala Lok Sabha seat were filed in April. The candidates on the Ambala seat include Bharatiya Janata Party's Rattan Lal Kataria, Selja of the Congress and Ram Pal of the INLD among others. The last date for filing nomination here was April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature was April 26. Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Rattan Lal Kataria won from the Ambala seat in Lok Sabha Elections 2014. He defeated Raj Kumar Balmiki of the Congress and is the sitting MP from Ambala.

The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place for 543 Lok Sabha seats in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
