While the nominations for the Chandni Chowk seat are yet to be filed, the Aam Aadmi Party has named its candidate from the constituency. AAP national secretary Pankaj Gupta will fight polls from this seat. The candidates of the BJP and Congress are yet to be announced. The last date of nomination in Phase 6 is April 23. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 26. Polling for the sixth phase will be held on May 12. The current MP from Chandni Chowk is Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr Harsh Vardhan. Dr Harsh Vardhan won the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from this seat, defeating AAP candidate Ashutosh and Congress two-time MP Kapil Sibal.
Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will be held in the country from April 11 to May 23. While voting will take place for the 543 Lok Sabha constituencies between April 11 and May 19, the poll results will be declared on May 23.
