Srinagar, May 23: According to the latest trends by the Election Commission (EC), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is making a huge buzz in Jammu and Kashmir. Three BJP candidates - Jugal Kishore, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and Dr Jitendra Singh are leading by huge margins on the Jammu, Ladakh and Udhampur seats in the state. On the other three constituencies of Srinagar, Anantnag and Baramulla, it is Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC)’s candidates who are leading. It is Bharatiya Janata Party winning all the way in the country including Jammu and Kashmir. The ruling BJP is leading in three Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Kashmir. In Jammu, it is Jugal Kishore is leading with 141111 votes over Raman Bhalla of Indian National Congress. Dr Jitendra Singh is leading with 246670 votes over Vikramaditya Singh of Congress on Udhampur seat. While BJP’s Jamyang Tsering Namgyal is also leading from the Ladakh seat but the margin is of mere 2295 votes, over independent candidate Sajjad Hussain.


Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah is leading with 55509 votes over Aga Syed Mohsin of Peoples Democratic Party on Srinagar seat. Mohammad Akbar Lone of NC is leading Raja Aijaz Ali of Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference with 23116 votes on Baramulla seat. Hasnain Masoodi of NC is leading over Ghulam Ahmad Mir of Indian National Congress (INC) but with a small vote margin of 3955 votes on Anantnag seat.
