New Delhi, June 19: Levelling a fresh horse-trading charge against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said the saffron camp has reached out to one of the Janata Dal (Secular) legislators and offered Rs 10 crore to switch. The alleged horse-trading attempt has not yielded results, Kumaraswamy added.

According to the Karnataka CM, his party MLA rejected the BJP's "offer" and informed the JD(S) top brass. The allegations were levelled by Kumaraswamy while addressing a public event on Tuesday. 2 Arrested by Bengaluru Police For Abusing CM HD Kumaraswamy, Son Nikhil in Viral Video

"One of our MLAs called me after he got a call by a BJP leader. They offered him Rs 10 crore to leave JD(S) and join the BJP. These attempts are being done continuously by BJP leaders. But by God's grace and your blessings, this government is safe for another 4 years," Kumaraswamy said.

Although Kumaraswamy has reiterated that the government will complete its full term, his cryptic remarks on Wednesday once again raised questions whether tensions are escalating between alliance partners Congress and the JD(S).
