Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The Kangra Lok Sabha constituency (PC-1) lies in the North of Himachal Pradesh. Voting will take place on the Kangra Parliamentary seat in the seventh and last phase of General Elections 2019 on May 19. Located in the Kangra district, it is known to be the most populated area of the hill state. The Kangra constituency consists of 17 Assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh. Political parties are yet to announce their candidates for Lok Sabha Elections 2019 for the Kangra seat. The last date of filing nomination on the seat is April 29. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is May 2. Polling will take place on this seat on May 19. Three-time Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shanta Kumar had won the Lok Sabha Elections 2014 from this seat. He is the sitting MP, Kumar had earlier won this seat in the years 1989, 1998 and 1999. In 2014 polls, Kumar defeated Chander Kumar of the Congress.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will take place across India between April 11 and May 23. While voting will take place in seven phases between April 11 and May 19, the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
