The exit polls have suggested that it will be TRS walking away with the win in Telangana Assembly Polls. However, some pollsters have also predicted that TRS might need a party’s support to form the government. As the results are out by the after we take a look at the constituency wise results.

Kollapur

It is the 85th constituency in Telangana. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, it was Jupally Krishna Rao of the TRS party who won the elections, by defeating Beeram Harshavardhan Reddy of the Congress party. It will be a three-way contest amongst TRS-TDP-Congress in Kollapur this time.

Devarakonda

It happens to be the 86th seat in Telangana. In 2014, Ravindra Kumar Ramavath of CPI won the Devarakonda seat against Bheelya Naik Kethavath of TDP. The margin of victory was quite less, and wonder if it could be a deciding factor this time around!

Nagarjuna Sagar

The constituency of Nagarjuna Sagar is the 87th in Telangana. In the previous Assembly Elections, it was Congress’ Jana Reddy Kunduru who won the election by defeating TRS’ Nomula Narsimaiah convincingly. In 2009, it was Congress who had won the seat.

Miryalguda

It is the 88th constituency in Telangana. In the 2014 Assembly Elections, it was Bhaskar Rao Nallamothu of Congress party who won the seat, after defeating Alugubelli Amarender Reddy of the TRS. Since CPM won the seat in the 2009 Assembly Elections, it will be a three-way battle amongst Congress, TRS, and CPI.

Huzurnagar

It happens to be the 89th seat in Telangana. Uttam Kumar Reddy Nalamada of Congress defeated Kasoju Shankaramma of TRS in the 2014 Assembly Elections. Huzurnagar happens to be Congress’ bastion as it had won the seat in 2009, 1967, and 1962.

Kodad

It is the 90th constituency of Telangana. During the 2014 Assembly Elections, it was Padmavathi Reddy Nalamada of the Congress party who won the Kodad seat, after she defeated TDP’s Bollam Mallaiah Yadav. The seat has switched between TDP and Congress most of the times.

Suryapet

Suryapet happens to be the 91st constituency of Telangana. In 2014, the seat was won by Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy of TRS, who defeated an Independent candidate Sankineni Venkateshwer Rao in a close contest.
