New Delhi, May 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked people of the country and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers for the unprecedented win in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. PM Modi in a tweet said, “Thank you India! The faith placed in our alliance is humbling and gives us strength to work even harder to fulfil people's aspirations. I salute every BJP Karyakarta for their determination, perseverance & hardwork. In one of his tweets, he congratulated Jagan Mohan Reddy for the victory of YSRC Party in Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections. He tweeted, “Dear @ysjagan, Congratulations on the remarkable win in Andhra Pradesh. In another tweet, he also congratulated Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the victory of his party in the Odisha Legislature elections for the fifth consecutive time. He said, “Congratulations to Naveen Babu for yet another victory in Odisha. Wishing him the very best for the next term.”

In the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the BJP is leading on more than 303 seats, while, the saffron party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) appears to cross 350-mark. The Congress this also failed to touch the triple figure mark. Meanwhile, the Others are likely to bad around 100 seats. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon be appointed the Prime Minister of the country for another five years. The Lok Sabha elections took place in the country in seven phases from April 11 to May 19.
