Mumbai, October 24: Sindkhed Raja Vidhan Sabha constituency is one of the 288 constituencies of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha and one of the seven which are located in the Buldhana district.  The constituency had their polls on October 21 and the counting of votes and election result were declared on October 24. Dr Rajendra Bhaskarrao Shingane of NCP party won from the Sindhkhed Raja Vidhan Sabha Constituency with 72,978 votes.

Sindkhed Raja is a city and a municipal council in Buldhana district in Maharashtra. It is also the birthplace of Jijabai, mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shashikant Narsingrao Khedekar won the 2014 General Assembly Elections with 64,203 votes from the Shiv Sena party ahead of BJP party's candidate Dr Ganesh.

For the convenience of the voters, polling booths in Maharashtra have been geotagged. The booths located on the second floor have been shifted to the ground floor so that senior citizen and differently-abled voters can reach the booth. All the election-related procedures are to be completed before Diwali this year. The main parties contesting for the 288 Maharashtra Assembly seats elections are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, and the Indian National Congress (INC).
