The Tigaon Vidhan Sabha Constituency falls in the Faridabad district and Parliamentary constituency in Haryana. Rajesh Nagar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won this seat in Haryana Assembly Elections 2019. While Tigaon is a village, the constituency covers both urban and rural areas. Security, electricity, water and roads form the primary issues on this seat, which has the maximum number of voters in Faridabad. Tigaon has a total of 3,03,389 registered voters and 288 polling stations. Voting in Tigaon for Haryana Assembly Elections 2019 took place on October 21. The counting of votes took place on October 24.

Lalit Nagar of the Congress had won the Tigaon seat in Haryana Assembly Elections 2014, defeating Rajesh Nagar of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Both Lalit Nagar and Rajesh Nagar fought the 2019 state polls as well on the seat on Congress and BJP tickets respectively. Other candidates on this seat for the polls this year included Umesh Bhati of the INLD among others. The Election Commission used nearly 1.3 lakh Electronic Voting Machines in Haryana elections 2019.

Vidhan Sabha Polls also took place simultaneously in Maharashtra. Voting for both Haryana and Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019 took place on October 21. The results for polls in both states were announced on October 24.
