Posing and getting inspired are quite common terms used in the fashion industry, No, we aren't even going Diet Sabya way to point out the similarities in different collections or the way designers get "encouraged" by other artworks. In this case, we are simply pointing out similarities between two photoshoots from a layman's point of view. There's always an immediate reaction to anything and everything that you see and we had one when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's new magazine cover was shining bright on our Instagram feed.

The former Miss World posed for Falguni & Shane Peacock's new magazine edition and her cover was all things glamorous. But the very first thought that popped in our heads was its similarity with Priyanka Chopra's. PeeCee, another Miss World, coincidentally, had turned the cover girl for Elle UK's July 2019 issue and it was her picture in a yellow dramatic ruffled dress that we thought was strikingly similar to Aish.

Posing on a ladder on a terrace with equally dramatic attires but in a different colour palette, of course, makes for a similarity, right? Though the placement of the motif (ladder, in this case) is slightly different in two pictures, its existence should not be ignored. We aren't saying it was a copy per se but just a case of a similar concept that we had earlier witnessed. We adore two of them equally and there's no way we are picking our favourite.
