Indian-origin, Bhasha Mukherjee has been recently crowned as the new Miss England 2019. The crowning took place on Wednesday, July 31 after she defeated dozens of models in a massive ceremony. The Derby resident holds medical degrees and has a "genius" IQ as well. In fact, Bhasha was take up a job as a junior doctor at a hospital in Boston, Lincolnshire, just hours after winning the beauty pageant. She is also said to be fluent five languages, English, Bengali, Hindi, German and French, is being hailed as "beauty with brains" all around the world. Bhasha holds two bachelor degrees, one in medical sciences and the second one in medicine and surgery from the University of Nottingham, as per reports from DM.

She seems to believe strongly in breaking the myth that women winning beauty pageants are "airheads". In an interview to Daily Mail she said: "Some people might think pageant girls are airheads, but we all stand for a cause,' she said before the contest. We're all trying to showcase to the world that actually just because we're pretty, it doesn't end there - we're actually trying to use our reach and influence to do something good. My pageant career all started to happen while I was in the middle of studying at medical school - it took a lot of convincing for me to do it, but eventually, I decided to do it to balance out my studying and give me a break."

The extremely talented and beautiful woman doesn't want to stop at being both a doctor and a pageant queen and says that she would love to balance both the titles. She is sponsored by Joggy Kang and Puneet Bhandal and has also set up her own charity, "The Generation Bridge Project", which combats isolation in elderly people, in 2017.
