The 27-year-old daughter of India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani was another Indian personality gracing the Met Ball, widely considered the ‘Oscars of Fashion’. Isha chose a pretty Prabal Gurung gown that had beautiful feather details on the lower half of the gown. American-Nepalese designer Prabal Gurung had dressed Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone previous year’s, Met Gala. And this time around, it is Isha Ambani who opted to wear on his creations to the fashion’s biggest event. Isha looked no less than a princess in the voluminous sleeveless lilac gown with an embellished bodice and deep neckline. We love the fit and flare. It’s so perfect. Isha opted for a soft wavy hair, and even her makeup is on fleek, especially the dark kohl-eyes and use of bronze and highlighter. She looks so beautiful. This year’s theme was ‘Camp’ fashion. By Wikipedia definition, “Camp is an aesthetic style and sensibility that regards something as appealing because of its bad taste and ironic value.” Yes, one goes all out and crazy, taking their quirky fashion several notches up. We saw Celine Dion drawing inspiration from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)’s Hella, Katy Perry dressed up like ‘chandelier’ and Cardi B who need 10-person entourage for her gown’s never-ending train!
