New entry to the Royal family, Meghan Markle is undoubtedly beautiful and epitome of elegance. From head to toe, she carries herself as a true royal. She is always seen in rather simple sartorial outfits and minimalistic makeup. But something is an instant eye-catcher that looks a little off and grabs our attention right away. Her shoes! Meghan’s shoes always have at least half-centimetre gap between her feet and the back. But according to a fashion expert Harriet Davey, Meghan wears ill-fitting shoes on purpose.

“Celebs often go a size up or even two in the shoe department when they’re at an event or on the red carpet and it’s for one reason we can all relate to – to avoid blisters. There’s nothing worse than uncomfortable shoes and when celebs like Meghan are wearing heels for a long period of time their feet can often swell up,” Harriet told Fabulous. She further explains, “The swelling can cause blisters and in the long run bunions – like long-time heel fan Victoria Beckham has rumoured to suffer with.”

But wouldn’t wearing oversized shoes make it super difficult to walk in and cause a lot of unnecessary falling? Not according to Harriet, “A trick of the trade is to stuff the tow with padding like tissue or cotton wool, and this can be taken out once they feel like they need a bit more room in their shoes.” This is one amazing information for all the women. Be smart like Meghan, next time you plan on wearing heels.
