Mumbai, September 9:  The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebratred across Indian with great enthusiam. It marks the birth of Lord Ganesha. In Mumbai, public pandals are set up in each area of the maximum city where huge Idols of the diety are installed. Lagbaugcha Raja is one of the famous Ganpati pandals of Mumbai. Lalbaugcha Raja 2019 followed the theme of Chandrayaan 2. The Mukh Darshan (face view of the deity) will be available all throughout the day for 24 hours. The revellers can have last darshan of the deity till Wednesday, September 11, 2019, midnight.  Devotees throng in large numbers to take blessings of the Lord. Many people also install Ganpati idol at their homes. Individual Ganpati is immersed in water on the second, fifth, seventh and the tenth day of the festival. Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, previously known as Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal was founded in 1934 at Lalbaug Market.This year, the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati entered 86th year.
