New Delhi, May 10: Muslims in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Bengaluru and other parts of India will hold Iftar this evening to break their fourth Roza or fast of the going Ramzan or Ramadan month. In Delhi, Muslims can hold Iftar at 7:03 pm. Muslims in Mumbai can break their fast and have Iftar at 7:05 pm. Iftar can be held at 6:08 in Kolkata. Muslims in Hyderabad can have Iftar at 6:40 pm. Here it may be noted that Muslims in Kerala and Karnataka’s Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts will hold fifth Iftar of Ramzan today. Under the Islamic lunar calendar, a new month begins upon the sighting of a crescent moon on the 29th day of the ongoing month. If the moon is not sighted, the month completes 30 days and a new month begins the next day.
