In a first-ever royal same-sex marriage, Lord Ivar Mountbatten created history. The lesser-known member of the Royal Family did something that was never done before among the royals. This weekend the 55-year old cousin of The queen exchanged rings with his partner Jame Coyle. On Saturday, the ceremony took place and the two became one. This remarkable event is officially the first ever same-sex marriage in the family of the Royals. In a private chapel in Bridwell Park, Uffculme, Devon, the two exchanged the vows. He even took on to Instagram 3 months ago to reveal his daughters' wish of his mother walking him to the aisle to give away to James. He captioned it saying, 'My daughters decided it was only right their Mum should walk me down the aisle and give me away to James. Here’s hoping he won’t say no at the last minute'
