After winning Miss Spain 2018 crown, beating 22 other beauty queens, Angela Ponce is on every news headlines now. Apart from standing confidently as an inspiration to the transgender community, Ponce’s hottest pictures speak why the revolutionary beauty queen deserves all the attention that she is rightfully getting.

Who is Angela Ponce?

According to various media outlets, Ponce at the age of 11 first began to explore her gender identity. In 2014, she then completed her transition in April 2014. And since then, there has been no looking back for her. The 5 feet 9-inch tall beauty queen earlier took part in Miss World Spain 2015, but could not win the competition. But instead, the failure motivated her and she participated again this year and gracefully won the 2018 Miss Spain crown.

In one of her Instagram posts, Ponce expressed that she wants to be a voice of “inclusion, respect and diversity not only for the LGBTQ+ community but also for the entire world.” Miss Spain Angela Ponce Becomes First Transwoman to Compete in Miss Universe Contest: See Pictures of Gorgeous Beauty Queen.

Ponce who became a model at age 18, detailed her experiences of transphobia in the industry. She was recently quoted in People as saying, “The fashion industry likes to talk about freedom and creativity, but many times I’ve gone to a casting and they’ve given me the job, and then later my agency calls and says they’ve changed their minds, because they’ve found out I’m a trans woman. I would just burst into tears.”

That look!

She added, “I’m showing that trans women can be whatever they want to be: a teacher, a mother, a doctor, a politician and even Miss Universe.”

Hotness alert!!!
