Cops suspect that Bhat killed his wife, Priyanka Bhat, and their son, Hriday, at their home before ending his life. During preliminary investigation, they also found that Karthik Bhat is a hotelier from Pakshikere in Mangaluru. The incident was reported after locals discovered an unidentified body on a railway track in Bellairu.
