Eid ul-Fitr 2020 will be observed on May 24 or May 25, depending upon the moon sighting. Eid is celebrated on the 1st day of Shawwal which is the tenth month of the Islamic calendar. Before Shawwal, Muslim practice fast in Ramzan, which is considered to be one of the most sacred months for Muslim. This year Ramzan began in India on April 25, 2020.
