The International Maritime Organization (IMO) celebrated every June 25 as the International Day of the Seafarer recognising the invaluable contribution seafarers mate to world trade and the economy by conducting sea transport. This year, the annual Day of the Seafarer will be celebrating its 11th anniversary.
