India is celebrating Diwali and so is the American Embassy in New Delhi. A video shared by the US embassy shows women at the American women dressed in Indian attire dancing to popular Bollywood song 'Dilbar' from the movie Satyamev Jayate. In the background, people can be heard cheering as women dance on the popular number. The video was quick to be shared widely on social media. The embassy shared the video on Twitter with the caption, "We are already getting into the #Diwali groove! Watch our American divas shake a leg together on a hit Bollywood song!" Most Twitterati was amused to see the American women dancing to Bollywood music. While some praise them others send Diwali wishes.

Diwali is one of the most significant Hindu festivals which is celebrated with great fanfare in India. People clean their houses welcoming the festival in a grand way. The Indian diaspora living across countries celebrates the festival in a grand way.
