"I just wanted to a Kardashian for a day and then live my life like normal." That quote could be used as an example of Antithesis. The line is by a 20-year-old woman from Canada who wanted an extravagant wedding sponsored by friends and family. Although people promised to contribute to her wedding expenses, at the last moment, ditched her. As they did not receive enough funds, her partner thought of having a cheap wedding, the woman insisted on having a grand one like those in the "fairy tales". Eventually, it lead to a heated conversation between the couple and thereafter the wedding was cancelled and thus breaking up.

Overcome by grief about the turn of events, Susan took to Reddit narrating her side of the story. The bride's rant went viral on social media however, netizens questioned her demand according to which only those can gift her CA$ 1,500 could attend her wedding. A Reddit user shared the post with the caption: 'Begging for a wedding'.

Susan in the post says that her friends and family "ruined my marriage and my life". "Specifically, I mean specifically asked for cash gifts," Susan's post reads. Expressing her disappointment, she writes, "Only eight people replied and sent us the cheque," she wrote. "We were f***ing livid. How could we have OUR wedding that WE dreamt of without proper funding?"

Hitting at her childhood sweetheart aka fiance for suggesting a small wedding, she writes, "He wanted one of those cheap, raggedy, filthy, whore-like Vegas weddings. Was he out of his mind? Am I some hooch piece of f***ing trash, a hooker? Am I supposed to like the idea of getting married in the heart of shady gamblers, alcoholics, and the get rich fast fallacy?"

Her best friend who was her maid of honour and her partner's family who had promised money also backed out devastating her dream wedding. Long post alert! But if you really want to know why the woman thought people she should give her money for a big wedding, keep reading.

She had also requested money for her wedding on GoFundMe, but could only manage $250. Her rant has neither impressed anyone on social media nor managed to garner sympathy. People only questioned her demands. Some commented asking: 'Who asks wedding guests for money?' Susan in her post mentions that she is off social media for some time and will be backpacking in South America for two months. While she has broken up with her partner she said that the couple "are remaining civil and are still a team for our son".
