Abusive Comments Flood Mirzapur Police Post Targeting Woman SP Aparna Rajat Kaushik

However, instead of focusing on the police achievement, many users turned the comment section into a space for offensive and inappropriate remarks targeting the woman officer’s appearance. Several comments included explicit language, sexist slurs, and body-shaming content, sparking concern over online harassment of women in uniform. HC on Body Shaming: Comments Like 'Too Fat, Too Skinny, Too Short, Too Tall, Too Dark and Too Black' Should Be Avoided, Says Kerala High Court.

Screenshots of the comments have since circulated widely, with social media users condemning the abuse and calling for stricter moderation and accountability. Many have also demanded action against those responsible, urging authorities to treat such online behavior as a serious offense.

The incident once again highlights the growing issue of misogyny and lack of digital civility, even in response to official law enforcement communications.
