Recently a video of a man begging on a flight went viral on the internet and it was trolled left, right and centre by people on social media. In the video, you could clearly make out that the man was distressed and was seeking help. He walked around the flight with a plastic bag asking the passengers for money. Further, in the video, you can see that the flight attendants get the man seated. What really caught the attention was the irony that the man could afford the flight tickets which was estimated to be over Rs 50000 when converted into the Indian currency and he was begging for money.

However, the truth behind the video was soon unveiled. Turns out the man in the video wasn't even Pakistani. He was Iranian deported without any money. A Twitter user Danyal Gilani, whose bio on his verified Twitter account read 'Chairman Central Film Censor Board. Former Press Secretary to PM.' revealed the further details of the video. The tweet said, 'This video is made onboard a Doha-Shiraz flight. The so-called beggar, who is an Iranian deportee, speaking Farsi & the lady making the video is also speaking in Farsi. The old man was deported without any money so he was asking passengers in the plane to help him out,”
