The heat can be very unbearable at times. While we humans still have options like fans, cooler or AC's to cool off, animals have not much for respite. A tortoise in Arizona found a good way to beat the heat. The weather in Arizona is too hot and little Tortie found the lawn sprinklers as his showers. The owner has taken a video of his pet tortoise and you can see the tortoise so happy to have the sprinkling water on her. 100-Year Old Tortoise Tries to Run Away, Covers Only 1.5 Kilometers in One Week.

Named Tortie, the tortoise stands directly in front of the sprinkler and puts her head in the flow of the water, moving her neck around happily. Owner Cassell Archinuk told a website about her pet’s fascination with the irrigation device, “My 5-year-old sulcata tortoise is obsessed with the sprinklers when they go on and loves to put his face right in them.”

Take a look at Tortie enjoying the water sprinkler:

Tortie lives in Chandler in Arizona where the temperatures are crossing the 40-degree mark. Thankfully, Tortie has found her respite and always goes to the lawn sprinklers when they are turned on. When the video came up on social media, it was widely viewed and shared for its cuteness. The video has got over 400,000 views and 11,000 plus shares. Isn't it a cute way of Tortie figuring his way of beating the heat?
